NGOs call for alternative Europe

In a joint "Copenhagen declaration" adopted ahead of the Copenhagen Summit, EU criticals from 20 European countries warned against the creation of a European superpower and criticized the EU approach to candidate countries in the accession talks. The declaration urges for fair EU-related referenda all around Europe and was handed over to the Danish EU Presidency.
