Possible plastic pollution treaty — recycling, reducing, tax, or cop-out?

Negotiations to finalise a deal to reduce plastic pollution kick off on Monday (25 November), against the backdrop of the 19 million tonnes of plastic which are dumped each year in the environment. 

Over the course of the week, the conference in Busan, South Korea, will hope to reach a legally-binding agreement to address the pollution disaster.
