House prices on the rise in Europe

House prices in most European countries have been growing steadily, with France, Spain, Ireland and the UK leading the table as their annual rises reached twelve per cent and more in 2004, a new survey has showed.

The annual review was published on Thursday (3 March) by the London-based Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors, the Financial Times reports.
