(Updated 30.1.2006 - 09:30 CET) EUOBSERVER / BRUSSELS - Poland has asked the Austrian EU presidency to wait until Wednesday (1 February) before presenting its final position on the VAT reductions dispute, after the Czech republic and Cyprus gave in over the weekend.
Polish diplomats cited "internal problems" for the delay, with Polish daily Rzeczpospolita reporting that Vienna will probably agree to the delay.
