Giscard at odds with EU leaders over timetable

The chairman of the Convention on EU future Valéry Giscard d'Estaing warns that he would not sacrifice the quality of the Convention's work for the sake of respecting the timetable the EU heads of state decided at their Laeken Summit, in December 2001.
