Three countries push ahead on criminal record sharing

Spain, France and Germany are planning to forge ahead with plans to share criminal records.

Their decision to push forward at a faster pace comes as EU justice ministers on Monday (20 July) discussed introducing a criminal registry for the whole of the 25-nation bloc.

The general discussion by ministers was pushed by Belgium which is currently investigating a serial murder.
