Nice Treaty tallies show No vote

After two hours of counting, early indications are that the result of the Irish Nice Treaty referendum could be very close. Tallies show the "No" vote at 52% in Cork City, 60% in Kerry North and 55% in Galway West and Waterford. However, the "Yes" vote is leading in Limerick East where it is 53% and Cavan-Monaghan where it is 57%.

An earlier reported tally for northwest Dublin showed 62 percent of Thursday's vote had been cast against ratifying the Nice Treaty, the radio said.
