The EU has said it is ready to look at ways of strengthening co-operation with Ukraine after the re-run of presidential elections, but has ruled out revising a pre-election deal.
Heads of government on Friday (17 December) asked both the European Commission and Javier Solana, the EU's foreign policy chief, to produce proposals after the December 26 election.
The EU also said it was ready to implement a recently agreed bilateral "joint action plan" to the fullest extent possible.<...
