British prime minister Tony Blair is meeting his German counterpart Angela Merkel in Berlin on Friday (17 February), with Iran top of the agenda.

The UK, Germany and France have represented the European Union in negotiations with Iran and also took the lead at UN level on the issue, with London and Paris being permanent members of the security council.
