Lithuanians poised to vote on EU membership

Lithuanians are next to vote on the country's EU membership in a referendum on 10-11 May. According to the latest polls from April, 66.3 per cent would vote in favour with only 13.3% being against joining the EU.

Lithuania is the fourth accession country to hold a referendum. The Maltese, Slovenians and Hungarians have already voted in favour of the EU.
