EU foreign ministers urged Serbia PM Vojislav Kostunica to step up progress on war crimes fugitives and back off on Kosovo at a meeting in Luxembourg on Monday night (16 October), but UN prosecutor Carla del Ponte warned Belgrade will "never" arrest top fugitive Radko Mladic.
The warnings come after the EU froze pre-accession talks with Serbia in May due to lack of cooperation on handing over Mladic, who is wanted by the UN war crimes court in the Hague for his alleged role in the 1995...
