EUOBSERVER / EP-elections 2004 - Despite expectations of a very low turnout for the European Parliament elections in Finland, the reduced number of seats guarantees a hard-fought battle for the 14 remaining MEP positions.

Finland’s biggest opposition party, the conservative National Coalition Party (NCP), which currently holds five seats out of 16 finish seats in the European Parliament, will have to work hard to keep its good position.
