Liberal MEP calls for simpler EU

70 per cent of the EU's decision-making procedure should be cut according to the Danish, liberal MEP Karin Riis-Jørgensen.

"Today we have 22 different ways to make decisions and vote in the EU. This is not clear for ordinary people. I would very much call upon the Convention to look critically into the present system", says Ms Riis-Jørgensen.
