Information about end-recipients of EU farm support should be public, EU commissioners Mariann Fischer Boel and Siim Kallas have confirmed in a letter to the European Ombudsman.
The proposal will be included in a Green paper on transparency to be tabled in March, according to Danish daily Information.
The Green paper is a follow-up to the Transparency Initiative launched by the commission at the end of 2005.
