No euro regret in Sweden

Indications are that the Swedes do not regret their rejection of the euro in last year's referendum.

A new opinion poll by TEMO published by Dagens Nyheter shows that 61 percent of Swedish voters are now opposed to the common currency, with 39 percent in favour of the euro.

This means that the gap between the 'yes' and 'no' votes has grown. When the Swedish euro referendum was held in September last year, the final result was 55.9 - 42.0 against joining the euro.
