EU tariffs low apart from farm and textile products

The EU, world leading exporter and second largest importer, has maintained its markets largely open with the exception for textiles and agriculture according to a new WTO report.

The report notes that the EU market for non-agricultural products continues to be largely open and Brussels is pursuing trade liberalization through multilateral, regional and bilateral initiatives.
