MEPs mount pressure to list Iran paramilitary unit as terrorists

The European Parliament is mounting pressure to list Iran's elite paramilitary group, the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) as a terrorist organisation.

"The European Poland parliament is calling for tougher sanctions," Roberta Metsola, president of the parliament, told reporters on Tuesday (20 January).
