MEPs concerned over election rules in Romania

The leader of the European People's Party has accused Romania of not fully respecting the political criteria for EU accession, saying it limits the freedom of elections.

In a statement released last week, Hans-Gert Poettering and József Szajer, leader of the Hungarian delegation in the EPP-ED Group, expressed their concern about the election rules in Romania.
