EU fisheries ministers meeting on Luxemburg on Tuesday (25 April) are set to clash on a European Commission proposal to allow fishermen to install new engines, which could lead to further over-fishing.
Ministers will be presented with a Brussels proposal to help EU fishermen facing economic problems install new engines that use petrol more efficiently.
But individual member states have spoken out against the move, saying it will lead to increased exploitation of dwindling Europea...
