No breakthrough in EU-US air war

The aerospace trade war between Airbus and Boeing looks set to continue today after talks between the EU and the US ended in deadlock.

The US is pressing the EU to end subsidies for Airbus, the aircraft manufacturer part owned by France, Germany, Spain and the UK.

However the EU is pointing to the significant state aid that the US company Boeing receives.
