Hungary seeks to suspend EU court's €1m daily asylum fine

Hungary has entered talks with the European Commission to settle a dispute over asylum — with the hope of suspending a daily €1m fine imposed by the European Court of Justice.

The announcement on Thursday (19 September) by Hungary's chief spokesperson came as Budapest
